IMMATERIAL BONSAI
My first finished unity project: A naive implementation of a tree generator.
Each node can either make a branch or a leaf; each branch partially inherits the length and angle of the last branch. Halfway through I realized that it felt like some sort of mineral growth under certain settings, and then made this. I called it immaterial bonsai because it clearly looks like it's made of some material and it's ironic (but in a way it also made sense why a naive implementation of a tree generator would be immaterial in a way, so it's ironically non-ironic, even)
Two buttons control the flow of time, as well as a third one that resets everything.
Sometimes it makes a nice chord and i get pleasantly surprised.
This project is completed as part of an assignment for the DESMA 162 course @ UCLA
*ps. I just realized that a bunch of unity sample project stuff made its way in the assets, and i'm not sure how to get them out.
